The 7-Day Payment program implemented by the subsidiary, which seeks to provide greater liquidity and financial stability to small and medium-sized companies, achieved a 94.6% compliance level last year, consolidating itself as a great contribution to promote entrepreneurship.
Paula Jervis, Legal, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Manager at Abastible, pointed out that “SMEs are an engine of social and economic development for Chile, so we must move forward with measures to strengthen and promote them, both from the public and private sectors. That is why, as a company, we have defined ‘Empowering the Entrepreneurial Spirit’ as our purpose and we work every day to obtain good results.”
During 2024, 64% of Abastible’s suppliers were SMEs and the implementation of different initiatives, such as the 7-Day Payment, has made it possible to support those who work with the subsidiary with greater liquidity and financial stability. Thus, last year more than 54,000 documents were paid in less than a week.
