AbastibleTec signs agreement for the supply of renewable energy

The Abastible subsidiary signed a long-term electricity purchase agreement with Zelestra, a Swedish company specialized in renewable energy, reinforcing its commitment to a more sustainable energy matrix.

The supply will come 100% from renewable sources, specifically from a 220 MWdc photovoltaic solar plant and a 1 GWh battery energy storage system, which represents a milestone in Abastible’s energy diversification strategy.

Ignacio Mackenna, general manager of AbastibleTec, emphasized that the agreement with Zelestra “reinforces our position as a relevant player in the commercialization of renewable electric energy in Chile. With this contract we move forward in our mission of providing renewable energy for our clients, accompanying them on the road towards the country’s energy transition.”
