The subsidiaries participated in panels at the Chile Day 2025 event in Madrid, where they discussed Chile’s role on the international stage, energy challenges, and the business contribution to sustainability.
During the event, both subsidiaries shared their vision and experiences in the transition towards more responsible models that are connected to communities. Cristián Infante, CEO of ARAUCO, highlighted the country’s relevance to the global development of the forestry industry, as well as the company’s experience in Brazil and the United States. Meanwhile, Joaquín Cruz, CEO of Abastible, emphasized the contribution of liquefied gas to the balance between economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental care.
The participation of both companies reflects the Chilean private sector’s commitment to global energy, environmental, and social challenges, positioning Chile as a country with real capabilities to lead sustainable transformation processes.
