The sustainable handkerchief collection “From the tree to your home,” created by the forestry subsidiary in collaboration with 1ko, was named the winner in the “Eco-design” category of the Circular Awards 2025, a national award that acknowledges the most outstanding circular economy projects in Chile. The initiative was valued for its creative and responsible approach, which combines design, biodiversity, and sustainability.

The project highlights the natural wealth of ARAUCO’s high-value areas, portraying their flora and fauna on scarves made from viscose, whose fiber comes from forests in southern Chile. The result is a textile piece with local identity and sustainable traceability, the result of a collaborative process between designers and company teams.

ARAUCO celebrated the recognition and highlighted that initiatives such as this one make it possible to showcase new languages to connect people with the landscapes they protect, bringing the value of the forest from the field to the home through products that inspire and educate about caring for the environment.
