Because of its sustainable nature and an investment that will positively impact the American community, ARAUCO’s Grayling project was awarded the “Certificate of Appreciation” by the US Government.
ARAUCO’s First Vice President, Roberto Angelini, together with the Executive Vice President, Matías Domeyko, received the recognition at a ceremony held at the offices of the US embassy.
The event was also attended by Baxter Hunt, Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Chile, and AmCham President, Sandra Guazzotti, among other authorities and executives. “Internationalization experiences such as that of ARAUCO demonstrate the interest of Chilean companies to invest and strengthen their businesses in markets such as the United States; to create added value in the community through the generation of employment, innovation, knowledge transfer and bringing part of the Chilean culture to that place,” Guazzotti said.
