ARAUCO signs agreement to sell forests in Chile for US$216 million


The forestry subsidiary agreed to sell eucalyptus forests located in Valdivia for more than US$216 million. Forestal Arauco S.A. signed the contract on June 30, 2026 with a Chilean company controlled by a local forestry investment fund whose contributors are institutional investors.

The transaction covers forestry assets across 561 plots owned by ARAUCO, with an approximate area of 29,458 hectares. It does not include the sale of the land on which the sold forests are planted.

The transaction will be completed within a maximum term of 45 consecutive days.
