Casa Arauco opens in Inocência, a place to gather with the community in Brazil

It is a place dedicated to the interaction between the company and the local community, offering information about ARAUCO’s history and trajectory in the world, as well as about the Sucuriú Project, the company’s first bleached pulp mill in the country, which is scheduled for construction this year.

Designed with a focus on sustainability, Casa ARAUCO was built using wood, water reuse systems and solar energy, reflecting the environmental values that guide the subsidiary’s operations.

“The opening of Casa Arauco is a major milestone that should be celebrated. This space represents the welcome to the community, which is part of our premise of being present and in constant dialogue with Inocência and neighboring cities. It also strengthens our commitment to leave a positive legacy in the city, fostering development, well-being and opportunities. The inauguration party is a reflection of this commitment, a moment of union that symbolizes how we value the people who are part of this trajectory,” said Carlos Altimiras, president of Arauco do Brasil.
