The two schools that are part of the educational network supported by the forestry subsidiary ranked among the top 100 scores in the country in the Higher Education Admission Test (PAES, for its acronym in Spanish).
Colegio Arauco, located in the Biobío Region, ranked 13th nationally and second regionally. Meanwhile, Colegio Constitución, in the Maule Region, also ranked among the top 100. Together, both schools had five students with top scores, standing out among the best educational projects located outside large cities.
“We are very proud of the results achieved by our schools. The fact that two of them are in the top 100 in the PAES reflects the sustained work carried out in the communities where we operate,” said Charles Kimber, ARAUCO’s Corporate Manager of People and Sustainability. He added that the commitment to education is sustained by a long-term vision because of its contribution to opportunities and progress in the territories.
Meanwhile, Fundación Belén Educa, an organization supported by Empresas Copec and its subsidiaries, had three students with top scores (1,000) in PAES 2026 admission tests in Reading Comprehension and Mathematics 1, including cases where preparation involved tutoring developed in collaboration with the Group.
