The subsidiary launched the fifth edition of Mueve Tus Sueños (Move Your Dreams), a local entrepreneurship program that this year will run in Mejillones, Caldera, Coquimbo, Quintero, Puchuncaví, Calbuco and five towns in the Aysén Region. The initiative includes a training process for 300 entrepreneurs, who will access training sessions, mentoring and specialized support to strengthen their businesses.

Carried out together with the Centro de Innovación UC Anacleto Angelini, the program features keynote speeches given by Copec executives on topics such as Leadership, Innovation, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Strategy. After this stage, 30 businesses will be selected, whose representatives will receive seed capital of $1,500,000 to move forward with their projects.

“At Copec we are committed to the development of the communities where we operate, driving innovation and local entrepreneurship as engines of growth for these territories,” said Juan Pablo Doñas, Chief of Corporate Affairs at Copec.

Since its creation, Mueve Tus Sueños has benefited 569 entrepreneurs, 82% of them women, helping 76% of participants formalize their businesses.
