The vessel Agustinas will deliver fuel directly to salmon farming companies operating in different areas of the Los Lagos Region, thus strengthening the subsidiary’s role in supplying energy to industries that are key to the country’s economy.
With a capacity to transport up to 70 m3 of fuels inside, it can deliver as much as 200 liters per minute at the time of loading, reducing times and making processes more efficient.
José Ignacio Depassier, manager at Copec’s Commercial and Operations Division, noted that “the focus is on being able to accompany – throughout the logistics chain – an industry as important for the country’s development as salmon farming.”
