The fintech company Copec Pay ended 2025 with over one million customers, thereby consolidating its growth in the prepaid card business. According to figures from the Financial Market Commission (CMF), Copec Pay Mastercard reached 194,780 active cards in 2025, representing a 38.3% increase over the previous year, along with transaction volumes totaling $42.726 billion.
The subsidiary’s CEO, Ignacio Alfaro, noted that the company is targeting a “broad and massive” segment, “including people who are just beginning to build a financial history.” Looking ahead to 2026, the company forecasts growth of over 50% in users, strengthening its presence within the Copec ecosystem and expanding the everyday use of its prepaid account and card, available in both physical and digital formats.
In line with this strategy, Copec Pay recently launched “Mis ganancias” (My Earnings), a new feature within its app that allows users to earn daily returns on the available balance in their prepaid account. The tool launches with an initial annual return of 6%, aiming to encourage the use of the account as an everyday financial solution for its customers.
