The World Rally Championship (WRC) was held for the first time in our country from May 10 to 12. The most important category of this sport worldwide had its sixth round of the 2019 season in the Biobío Region with the Estonian driver Ott Tänak as winner.

This important automobile speed and endurance competition has been the most important sporting event in the history of the Biobío region. During three intense days, the drivers traveled a total of 326 kilometers, in one of the most demanding rallies in the history of national motorsport.

The event brought together 45 pilots, hundreds of fans of this sport, authorities of the region and directors and executives of Empresas Copec.
