Copec signs 2020 Electromobility Agreement
Along with 51 other companies and in a ceremony led by the Minister of Transportation, Gloria Hutt, and the Minister of Energy, Juan Carlos Jobet, the subsidiary undertook to promote electromobility in the country.
Through this agreement, goals were set to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation and energy industries, with a view to making Chile a carbon neutral country by 2050.
In this way, depending on the role or line of business of each company or institution, an action plan will be established to advance in various thematic areas. In the case of Copec, the company undertakes to increasing the availability of electric vehicles charging stations.
Copec thus takes a new step in its contribution to Chile’s energy transition process.
