The new “Ruta Lagos del Sur” green corridor, an initiative developed in partnership with Porsche and Big Magazine, aims to strengthen the electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the Los Ríos and Los Lagos regions. The project adds six new charging points at strategic tourist destinations, enabling long-distance travel through a zero-emission mobility model.
The new network features 22 kW chargers at hotels in Puerto Varas, Las Cascadas, Lago Ranco, Puyehue, Neltume, and Villarrica, integrating Copec Voltex technology with Porsche’s global Destination Charging program.
“Electric mobility is not a future promise, it is already part of the present, transforming the way we move around Chile,” said Tomás Vicuña, B2C director at Copec Voltex. He added that this corridor will “continue bringing charging infrastructure to the regions, enabling simpler, more comfortable, and more sustainable electric travel.”
With this inauguration, the Copec subsidiary continues to expand its green corridor network across the country, adding this new route to projects already developed in O’Higgins, Valle del Maipo, and Valle del Elqui.
