The subsidiary took a key step in strengthening the country’s electromobility infrastructure with the inauguration of a new ultra-fast charging hub at kilometer 17.5 on Route 68. With a power output of up to 240 kW, this new station is capable of simultaneously charging up to four electric vehicles, marking the beginning of the rollout of a new standard on highways.

Thanks to an intelligent system that distributes energy according to each vehicle’s needs, the new charging center can charge up to 80% of the battery in just 15 minutes, depending on the model.

The initiative is part of Copec Voltex’s expansion plan to strengthen the public charging network nationwide, with the aim of facilitating interurban travel, promoting the development of electromobility, and meeting the growing demand from users with faster, more accessible, and more convenient solutions.
