Copec Wind Ventures is recognized as the best CVC in the region

For the second consecutive year, Copec Wind Ventures was awarded as the best corporate venture capital (CVC) in Latin America according to the Innova 360 ranking. The recognition confirms its role as an engine for innovation in strategic sectors such as energy, mobility, and convenience, consolidating its position as a regional benchmark in connecting large companies and high-impact startups.

From its headquarters in San Francisco, the subsidiary has evaluated more than 4,000 startups and made investments of more than US$160 million in 25 companies. Its model transcends the delivery of capital, focusing on implementing effective solutions in the Latin American market that accelerate the transformation of industries and have a positive impact on the lives of people and communities.

Leonardo Ljubetic, Copec’s Development Division chief, said: “Each startup we work with allows us to test innovative solutions that improve energy efficiency, promote sustainable mobility, and have a real impact on people’s quality of life.”

With this achievement, Copec reaffirms its long-term vision, betting on innovation as an engine of sustainable development in the country and the region, in line with an ecosystem that increasingly demands technological solutions with economic, social, and environmental impact.
