Empresas Copec included in major 2026 sustainability indices
The Company was included in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Chile Index and the Dow Jones Best-in-Class MILA Pacific Allianc...
Empresas Copec launched its official Instagram profile, @ALargoPlazo_EC, as part of a commitment to communicate its vision for the future through digital platforms, in line with its #NoMoreShort-Termism campaign and its corporate purpose. The content, which is reflective and documentary in nature, aims to transcend the logic of immediacy that is common on social media, establishing a narrative focused on decisions sustained over time and the value of depth over speed.
The debut on this social network came with the launch of the audiovisual series “Crónicas de Largo Plazo” (Long-Term Chronicles), which highlights the story of brothers Anacleto and Gino Angelini during World War II and the family’s subsequent migration to Chile. With unpublished records from the family archive, the story is intertwined with the experience of Roberto Angelini, Empresas Copec’s Chairman, who crossed the Atlantic with his mother Silvana Rossi in 1951, at only three years old, to start a new life in Valparaíso.
At the same time, the Company released a manifesto read by Eduardo Navarro, Empresas Copec’s CEO, inviting people to join “those who value depth over speed. Because what is truly valuable takes time to arrive.” This editorial line will set the tone for the content shared on the new channel, focusing on testimonials, projects, and visions that reflect the company’s commitment to sustainable development and future generations.
With this initiative, Empresas Copec reinforces its position as a company committed to long-term transformation, using Instagram as a space to highlight stories that connect generations, strategic decisions, and the purpose of contributing to the country’s progress from a profound perspective without shortcuts.
