For the ninth consecutive year, the Company was acknowledged in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) as one of the leading companies worldwide in the economic, social and environmental criteria assessed by this prestigious index.

Empresas Copec, which participates in the Oil & Gas – Refining & Marketing industry, was positioned in the top 5 of the sector. “This achievement is the result of the development and implementation of several initiatives aligned with our investment model and sustainable management, reflecting the strength of the corporate strategy, which has sustainability as a fundamental axis to shape the world for future generations,” said Claudia Herrera, head of Sustainability at Empresas Copec.

The DJSI is a global index that measures the performance of organizations in sustainability, assessing key aspects such as resource management, social impact, good business practices, among others.
