In order to promote complete, transparent and timely communication with the market, as well as to reinforce its strategic vision and main business guidelines to the financial community, Empresas Copec held this event for its investors.

During the meeting, top executives of the Company and its subsidiaries disclosed the goals and progress of the business to representatives of pension fund managers, investment banks, stockbrokers and local and international institutional funds.

During his presentation, Eduardo Navarro, CEO of Empresas Copec, emphasized that the Group’s growth focus will continue in natural resources and energy, leveraging the competitive advantages of its subsidiaries, their cost efficiencies and their leadership in the different markets where they participate.

The executive also specified other key areas that will guide the development strategy of Empresas Copec and its subsidiaries: investments with sustainability criteria, innovation and a long-term vision, in line with the Company’s corporate purpose: “To shape the world for future generations.”

Also speaking at the meeting were Abastible CEO Joaquín Cruz, Copec CEO Arturo Natho, and ARAUCO CEO Cristián Infante. Each gave a complete analysis of the progress and initiatives they are promoting in business.

The following day, a group of Investor Day attendees traveled to Concepción to participate in a guided tour of Arauco’s MAPA plant and Bioforest, the forestry subsidiary’s state-of-the-art research center.
