Through this milestone, Golden Omega commits to incorporate into its strategy, culture and operations the “Ten Universal Principles on Human Rights, Labor Relations, Environment and Anti-Corruption” and, in this way, contribute to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) contained in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
With more than 17,000 companies and 3,000 non-commercial signatories in over 160 countries and 70 local networks, Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. In Chile, it has more than 120 member companies, is part of more than 15 multi-sector alliances and has ten active working groups of leading companies.
