With the support of CPC, Chile’s Confederation of Production and Commerce, and its six trade associations, Golden Omega, together with Benexia, Condensa, and Newscience, launched the “Arica Capital of Omega-3” cluster. This initiative aims to position the city as a strategic center for the production and development of essential fatty acids at a global level.
The project, which began more than a year ago as a collaborative effort between companies in Arica and their link with Newscience as a common client, arose from the natural synergy of their location in the region and the strong focus on innovation.
Currently, this joint effort generates an annual investment exceeding US$5 million in goods, services, and patents, in addition to direct employment for nearly 400 people, contributing to local economic development and consolidating Arica as a productive hub in the north of the country.
This alliance reinforces Golden Omega’s commitment to Arica and aligns with the trade association’s strategy of promoting regions as engines of growth and economic decentralization.
