Las Salinas creates subsidiary focused on soil remediation

Remedia Green Tech was created as part of Inmobiliaria Las Salinas and will focus on the remediation of contaminated soils, based on the experience acquired by the Company in the bioremediation project of the Las Salinas site in Viña del Mar.

The firm, which already has contracts secured in three regions of the country, aims to advise owners of contaminated sites or sites with potential contaminants in the integrated management of a remediation that is synergistic with the opportunity to capture economic, social and environmental value with its long-term development.

Remedia Green Tech will be led by Ricardo Labarca, Development Manager at Las Salinas, and will focus on three lines of business: sustainable transformation of land with real estate potential, consultancy for industrial land, and environmental remediation in the mining sector.

“Remedia GT is generating a new line of business, connecting the need to act responsibly with the environment with the economic, social, and environmental opportunities that are generated from the remediation of contaminated soils,” said Ricardo Labarca.
