Las Salinas stands out as a benchmark in urban remediation and regeneration

The subsidiary continues to position itself as a flagship project in environmental and urban matters, both locally and globally.

The project, which is being developed in Viña del Mar, was the only national representative selected for the prestigious AquaConSoil 2025 conference held in Belgium, where it was highlighted as a technical and strategic example of environmental regeneration. At the international event, Las Salinas shared its experience with experts from all over the world, highlighting its methodology based on natural solutions, clean technologies, and permanent environmental monitoring.

Ricardo Labarca, CEO of Las Salinas, stressed that this invitation “represents a recognition of the rigorous and transparent work we are carrying out in Viña del Mar and continues to position the project as a Latin American benchmark in responsible urban soil recovery, while also opening up opportunities for international collaboration and technical validation on a top-level platform.”

Upon their return, the team also presented the project’s progress to AOA, the Association of Architects’ Offices, where they revealed details of the future sustainable neighborhood planned for Viña del Mar. Its main features include a central park equivalent in size to the Sausalito stadium, which, together with other parks, wide sidewalks, and public spaces, will represent more than 40% of the land. The urban plan includes medium-rise buildings with a balanced mix of housing, retail, services, hotels, and cultural facilities, designed as an open space accessible to residents and visitors.
