Lemu debuts on the market with contracts in strategic sectors

After four years of research and development, and entering its first commercial phase, the Arauco Ventures startup has signed agreements with clients such as Codelco, Conexión Kimal-Lo Aguirre, and the Central Bank.

This deployment is supported by Atlas, a platform developed by Lemu that collects and analyzes environmental data from natural ecosystems using artificial intelligence, and is designed to support business decision-making. Starting next year, it will also add information obtained from its own satellite, Lemu Nge (“Eye of the Forest” in Mapudungun).

One of its first use cases is the Kimal-Lo Aguirre power transmission line, where Atlas is used to monitor biodiversity in order to reduce its impact and development time. Meanwhile, the Central Bank is using Atlas as input for its macroeconomic analyses.

With a US$12 million investment from Arauco Ventures, the company will prioritize validating its proposal in Chile during 2025, before planning its international expansion next year.
