Pronto Copec aims to become Zero Waste by 2029
The subsidiary has set the goal of promoting sustainable transformation with a real impact on the environment and circular economy. In this context, one of the most outstanding achievements was reached in 2024, when Pronto Copec managed to divert 35% of waste from landfill, which translated into 685 tons of waste recycled in 94 of its stores.
Likewise, in alliance with Food for Future (F4F), it recovered and added value to more than 140 tons of organic waste to produce nutritious feed flour for animals. In addition, it implemented industrial composting in 11 stores, recycled 196 tons of cooking oil for biodiesel and donated 27 tons of food, benefiting more than 47,000 people.
With these achievements, Pronto Copec strengthens its leadership in sustainability and reaffirms its commitment to the transformation of the industry, demonstrating that it is possible to achieve the goal of Zero Waste through innovation and constant commitment.
