With the support of CORFO, the Innovation Center launched the 2025 edition of Upscale Mining, an initiative that seeks to accelerate scientific and technological startups focused on cleaner and more sustainable mining and energy.

In this edition, 13 emerging companies with highly mature technological solutions were selected to receive comprehensive support to help them scale up. The program includes mentoring, training in capital raising, connections with companies and investors, and opportunities for industrial piloting.

Upscale Mining is supported by partners such as Dictuc, CNP (Chile’s National Pilot Center), UC academics, and other networks in the innovation ecosystem. In addition, up to four startups will be able to access the ESCAI program, which awards CORFO grants to scale up already validated solutions.

This initiative reinforces the Center’s commitment to the development of technologies applied to strategic sectors for the energy transition.
