The new technological tool, developed by Multigremial Nacional and Kame ERP, together with the subsidiary, provides an accounting system free of charge to all micro and small companies in the country.
The initiative aims to improve the basic accounting of 200 thousand entrepreneurs and provide an accounting system to another 100 thousand that currently operate without these records. It also seeks to reverse the existing informal situation in Chile, which reaches 27% and rises to 58% by focusing only on the micro-enterprise segment.
Abastible’s Sustainability Manager, Julio Vidal, explained that “one out of every three SMEs disappears before they reach three years of life, and one of the main reasons is not being able to access the necessary financing to enable their consolidation. For this reason, formalizing their accounting becomes one of the cornerstones for accessing the financing that is essential for them to take off and grow, which is why we believe it is important to promote this initiative.”
The software includes modules for sales, purchases, collections, payments, payroll and cash flow. In addition, it allows data synchronization with the Internal Revenue Service and the Labor Department, among others, through the website www.contabilidadgratuita.cl.
