The Company ranked first in this category of the study that recognizes the companies with the best corporate reputation in the country.

The Business Measurement of Corporate Reputation (MERCO by its Spanish acronym) is prepared with more than 30,000 surveys and collects the opinion of first- and second-line managers of companies with annual turnover equal to or greater than US$ 30 million. Financial analysts, NGO representatives, members of trade unions and consumer associations, economic information journalists, academics from the Business area and opinion leaders, among others, also participate.

This reputational assessment instrument, based on a multistakeholder methodology, is verified by KPMG, in accordance with ISAE 3000 standard, which publishes its opinion for each edition.

In 2020, the Company ranked first in the “Business Holding” category. Additionally, in the results of 2020 MERCO leaders, which distinguishes the most reputable executives, it is worth noting the third place obtained by Empresas Copec Chairman Roberto Angelini, who rose one position compared to the previous year.
