Every year, ALAS20, an initiative of GOVERNART, a think tank and ASG consultant, recognizes the 10 organizations and investors with the highest number of votes in the polls conducted in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

In the 2020 version, Empresas Copec was one of the five companies nominated in all the categories of this ranking:

• Leading Company in Sustainability
• Leading Company in Corporate Government
• Leading Company in Investor Relations

The voting process involves heads of investor relations, sustainability leaders, executives and other members of companies with a stock market presence, closed-held corporations, state-owned companies, “sell side” and “buy side” financial analysts, investment managers and other members of asset management institutions, fund managers, Pension Fund Managers, General Fund Managers, Investment Fund Managers, family offices and other institutional investors.

“They are all dimensions of the greatest importance in today’s financial world. This is a key recognition of a distinctive way of doing business, and of the deep and continuous work developed by the company in all these areas, and for several years now,” said Empresas Copec CFO, Rodrigo Huidobro.

The results of this ranking will be announced in November of this year.
