The subsidiary was distinguished as “Outstanding Company of the Year” in Arica for its contribution to the region’s economy, a distinction awarded by the industrialists’ association of the region (ASINDA) as part of the 67th anniversary celebration.

Exports of Golden Omega accounted for 18% of the region’s total exports in 2022, making it a major player in the global Omega-3 market.

The company also ranked fifth in the 2022 intellectual property valuation ranking, carried out by InTraCoM GmbH, being one of the firms with the highest valued portfolio in this area in Chile.

Regarding this recognition, Jorge Brahm, General Manager of Golden Omega, said: “We are very proud to have been the main player in this process of intellectual property development in Chile. In our case, the eight patents granted in the main global markets protect the company’s production processes and allow us to produce unique products in terms of quality and purity. All this has been possible thanks to the research and development carried out in our plant in Arica.”
