The subsidiary will open a new office in the port of Vigo, Spain, enabling it to establish commercial synergies in the jack mackerel market, a product that is currently exported mainly to Africa.
“What we want to do today is to strengthen our presence by selling value-added frozen products,” said Juan Pablo Vaccaro, Commercial Manager of Orizon.
In 2022, Orizon Seafoods sold close to US$2 million in Europe. With the opening of this new office, Orizon Seafoods expects to generate revenues of US$6 million.
This is the subsidiary’s second international expansion, following its arrival in Miami, United States.
