After selling over a million tourist experiences in Chile under the Chiletur brand, the subsidiary stepped up its commitment to digitally transform tourism across the entire region with the launch of Tur.com, a platform that seeks to connect travelers with local tours, activities, and experiences. It offers more than 1,000 integrated operators and over 2,000 experiences available for booking.
“The evolution of Chiletur Copec to Tur.com is part of a broader transformation at Copec. Today, we are a multi-service platform that seeks to meet the different needs of people on the move. Just as we accompany travel with energy, mobility, and convenience, today we also do so with tourism, connecting travelers with experiences and promoting local development through a regional digital platform,” said Tur.com CEO Elías Musalem.
The rollout has involved teams in different markets to add operators country by country, with the goal of reaching 17 nations by 2026 and progressively expanding content.
The strategy aims to double the number of passengers transported and for a significant portion of that activity to occur outside Chile, which has required adjusting operations to each market.
