Flux Solar to supply power to retail chain
The Copec subsidiary and Multicentro established an agreement for the operation of eight photovoltaic plants that will supply 100% clean energy to the retail chain’s branches and offices located in the O’Higgins and Maule Regions.
David Rau, general manager of Flux Solar, said that this agreement materializes the company’s commitment to promote the energy transition process, “bringing together more and more companies and people who are aware that environmental challenges are everyone’s job”.
Five solar plants are currently in operation and the other three are under construction. Together, they will provide 549 kWp of power, reducing CO2 emissions and allowing a customer like Multicentro greater energy autonomy from the grid.
