Empresas Copec’ rating on Climate Change raises
The Company increased its rating to “B” in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) this year, specifically in the Climate Change program, which aims to reduce companies’ greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate risk of climate change.
To do this, this international non-profit organization requests information on climate risks and low-carbon opportunities from the world’s leading companies. This data, in turn, is required by major investors globally.
“The best rating we obtained this year in the Climate Change questionnaire is the result of the work we have been doing to further strengthen our management of environmental impacts,” said Pamela Harris, Deputy Manager of Corporate Affairs at Empresas Copec.
