Golden Omega obtains SSINDEX sustainability certification

For the second consecutive year, the related company dedicated to the production of high-quality omega-3 fatty acids, conducted the Stakeholders Sustainability Index (SSIndex) survey to determine the perception of its employees, customers, suppliers and the community on its environmental, social and governance performance.

The overall rating obtained by Golden Omega for its ESG performance allowed it to qualify for the certification granted by the entity, which reached 72% among its stakeholders, a figure 5% higher than the average of the SSIndex 2022 companies.

In addition, during 2022 Golden Omega was certified for its management of employees, customers and suppliers, groups where it obtained an average score of 77%, 84% and 87%, respectively.

This indicator, shaped by academics from prestigious universities in the United States, makes it possible to identify and manage risk and sustainability hotspots through a complete analysis of the stakeholders surveyed.
