Orizon Seafood opens community plant for Coronel female entrepreneurs

The project provides a group of women from the Lo Rojas Union of Charqueadoras (workers in the fish drying and salting process) with a ClinBox room on loan, a fully equipped space with a health permit, for the processing of smoked mackerel and crab meat.

In this way, the women will be able to generate value-added products, improve their income and access new sales markets.

“This initiative is in line with our ongoing commitment to improve the quality of life of the communities where we operate,” said Juan Pablo Chávez, People, Sustainability and OHS manager of the fishing subsidiary.
