For the second consecutive year, the Company was included in the Sustainability Yearbook, an annual report by the global consulting firm S&P that evaluates the world’s leading companies by market capitalization, in terms of their social, environmental and economic performance.
In this edition, a total of 7,500 private sector players from 61 industries were subjected to S&P’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) methodology. Empresas Copec earned the “Sustainability Member” rating this year, ranking among the 30% of the leaders in its industry (oil and gas) with the best ESG indicators.
“The global challenges we face today, especially at a social and environmental level, require a concrete and scaled commitment to sustainability. Sustainability Yearbook 2022 confirms that at Empresas Copec we are advancing along this path, effectively contributing to building a more sustainable future for the current generation and those to come,” said Pamela Harris, Corporate Affairs Director at Empresas Copec.
